Xiaomi has already pushed the HyperOS 2.2 beta update to select users, and it seems that the stable version of the update is around the corner. As XiaomiTime reports, the first rollout is expected to happen between mid-May and mid-June 2025, with the second batch reportedly set for between mid-June and late July 2025.
XiaomiTime claims that this release timeline is predicted from the launch announcement of the Xiaomi Camera 6, which is expected to ship with HyperOS 2.2. The outlet has also listed the possible phones that could be the first to receive this new update, and they are:
- Xiaomi 15 series
- Xiaomi Mix Flip
- Xiaomi Mix Fold 4
- Xiaomi 14 series
- Redmi K80 series
- Redmi Note 14 series
- Redmi Turbo 4
- Redmi K70 series
The above-listed phones are expected to receive the stable Xiaomi HyperOS 2.2 update between mid-May and mid-June 2025. XiaomiTime has also listed the second batch of devices that could get the update between mid-June and late July 2025, and they are:
- Xiaomi 13 series
- Xiaomi Mix Fold 3
- Xiaomi Civi 4 Pro
- Xiaomi 12 series
- Redmi Turbo 3
- Redmi K60 series
- Redmi Note 13 series
It's unclear whether the Xiaomi phones under the POCO branding will receive the HyperOS 2.2 update within the two reported timelines. However, the devices that are currently running HyperOS 2 and aren't in the EOL product list should get the update after or during the initial rollouts.
As for the update itself, not much is known about HyperOS 2.2, but per the beta build changelog, it seems that the update will bring a handful of improvements and fixes. More details could be revealed by Xiaomi in the coming days.
