OnePlus has finally started confirming specifications for the OnePlus 13T after showcasing various teaser images on social media earlier this week. To recap, the OnePlus 13T will land in China on April 24 as a rival to the likes of the Apple iPhone 16 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S25 (curr. $719.99 on Amazon) thanks to its 6.3-inch display.
Based on recent benchmark leaks, the OnePlus 13T will follow in the Galaxy S25's footsteps by adopting the full 8-core version of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Not only has OnePlus now confirmed as much, but it has also revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Elite will be underpinned by a battery that exceeds 6,000 mAh in capacity and can recharge at 120 W.
All these components are said to be kept in check by a 'Glacier' or 'Ice River' cooling system, which is hoped to outperform the equivalent offered in the thermally-throttled OnePlus 13. On top of that, the OnePlus 13T will showcase the 'Gaming Wi-Fi Chip G1' to minimise Wi-Fi latency and maximise speeds.
OnePlus has showcased early camera samples that were supposedly taken using its next flagship, too. Embedded below, the photos show 24 mm and 49 mm equivalent focal lengths, which we suspect relate to the OnePlus 13T's 50 MP primary and 50 MP telephoto lenses, respectively. Although full details about these lenses remain unknown for now, OnePlus has hinted that the former is sourced from Sony, presumably from its Lytia (LYT) range.
