The Nothing Phone (3) flagship was expected to launch last quarter but instead Nothing launched the Phone (3a) series. Now, Nothing's CEO, Carl Pei, has revealed when the flagship will be announced.

When Nothing began teasing its first smartphone this year, there were speculations it was going to announce the Nothing Phone (3), its highly-anticipated flagship smartphone. Sadly, that wasn't the case as it instead released the mid-range Nothing Phone (3a) (available on Amazon for $399) and the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. Now, Nothing's CEO and founder has revealed when the Nothing Phone (3) will arrive.

The info was revealed during an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session organized by Carl Pei on X. When asked when the Nothing Phone (3) will be released, Pei's answer was Q3. This means the phone will be announced between July and September which is about 5 months away at most if it announces the phone at the end of next quarter.

Nothing is keeping a tight lip on specific details of the Nothing Phone (3) but it hasn't stopped teasing the device whenever it has the chance. In a video it made explaining the design of the Nothing Phone (3a) series, it showed off the Nothing Phone (3) albeit pixelated.

Nevertheless, the Phone (3) is expected to arrive with a flagship chipset, an AMOLED display with a high refresh rate, at least three cameras including one with a telephoto lens, and better ingress protection than the Nothing Phone (2).

While we wait for the Nothing Phone (3), Nothing has a new phone arriving later this month, one that sits at the other end of the spectrum. That phone is the CMF Phone 2 Pro, a successor to last year's modular CMF Phone 1.
